Call To Worship

Psalm 25:14-16

The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him,

and he makes known to them his covenant.

My eyes are ever toward the Lord,

for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

Turn to me and be gracious to me,

for I am lonely and afflicted.

God, through Jesus’s death, you no longer call us enemies but friends. Not only friends but children. Thank you. We trust in you. We love and fear you. You are excellent and worthy of being praised. You have made way for us to be with you. On this Father’s day, we are reminded that you are our perfect Father. You are our great and good Father. Thank you for adopting us as your own, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the blood of your Son. Thank you for saving us, rescuing us from the wages of our sin.

We look to you this morning. Help us sing praise to you. Loosen our hearts and voices to join the chorus of Creation, giving you the honor you deserve. Help us pray to you.

Help us hear from you. Open our eyes, ears, and hearts as Cindy leads us in song and Jeff teaches us from the Word. Minister to us, LORD.

Thank you for hearing our prayers and accepting our praise. Thank you for your blessings.

God, be with us now in tangible and personal ways.

AMEN
