Nathaniel Philbrick did it again with a great inciteful well-researched book,
Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community, and War. If
you are preparing for Thanksgiving and want an interesting and captivating look at the complexities of Thanksgiving, this book is for you. I enjoyed this book immensely. It helped me understand the times and painted the darker side to the colonists while also showing not all the Native Americans were the same.
Right now it has 829 plus four stars on
Amazon. It is 463 pages long and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
The first great and primary business to which I ought to attend every day
is to have my soul happy in the Lord.
