Show them Jesus: Teaching the Gospel to Kids
I just finished this book by Jack Klumpenhower. It was personal, inspirational, and instructional. In 208 pages he gives multiple examples of how he moves from what could be a familiar Sunday school lesson on doing good, to seeing Jesus in the text. He offers responses to questions people have had, how his lessons can be adapted for parents, youth leaders, and challenges the reader through his own humble mistakes and failures. This is a great read for Sunday school teachers.
