Isn't the author a mystic? I've avoided his books, so can't speak to the content.
ReplyDeleteGood question. I have not read this book. I heard him speak once when he was living. I would say that his material is good and sound for the most part. He was friends with Richard Foster. I think for a more conservative contemporary on the Spiritual Disciplines and Spiritual growth Donald Whitney is a good alternative.
